Me Singing
Hi, my name is Candy. My initial purpose in setting up this website is to share electone and piano music sheets with others. I have uploaded electone and piano videos in You Tube and have since received several requests for the music sheets. I thought a website would be a good platform to direct people to the download links of these music sheets, at the same time allowing me to organize the music sheets I have scanned and uploaded online. Later, I decided to make the website more complete by providing an autobiography and also use it to keep track of my line dance choreography.

Me & My Favourite Hamster!
Many people have asked me why I did not further my education, be it academic, music or dance. I attribute the decisions I have made in life to a very strong personality trait of mine - practicality.

1. While pursuing my Master's Degree in Mathematics, my lecturer often suggested that I should obtain my PhD & then teach in a university. However, PSC insisted that I must serve my 5-year bond after obtaining my Master's Degree. If I want to pursue my PhD, I must break bond & pay PSC a hefty sum of money. Obviously, I chose to serve my bond. By the time 5 years is over, I was already married with a kid & not in the right frame of mind to study anymore.

2. My organ teacher had big dreams for me. She wanted me to go for my Grade 4 after I managed to obtain my Grade 5 (Teacher's Grade) within 6 months. She also felt that I had the potential to represent Singapore to compete on the electone. On the contrary, my mum felt that studies should come first. Obviously, I listened to my mum.

 3. I obtained my Grade 8 (Teacher's Grade) for piano when I was 16. Yes, I could have gone on to get my Diploma & then Licentiate. Instead,  I started teaching piano part-time when I turned 17 & continued doing so throughout my 2 years in junior college. Making money out of my passion is more important than getting qualifications in it.

4. Since young, I have decided that a dance career in Singapore is not going to fetch me much in future. That is the reason why whenever I am pressed for time, dancing is the first activity I let go.

Being practical is indeed my greatest strength ... and ... my greatest weakness.
